Why do we fundraise? Schools receive allocated funds from the Government, as well as receive payments for school fees from families. This money goes towards maintaining a functional and sustainable school environment for our children? by providing valuable classroom resources and care for buildings and surrounds. Your P&C fundraises throughout the year to assist our school in creating the best possible educational environment for our children?. In the past we have helped pay for various classroom resources, joint project for COLA extension, joint project for artificial turfing of the school oval, air conditioners for classrooms, playground equipment, sporting (PSSA) and creative and performing arts (CAPA) uniforms and equipment, garden club, and band equipment.

 

All events are run by volunteers and we are always looking for people to help. If you would like to be involved by supporting your P&C and your school by lending a hand at any of these events, please contact the P&C via email. We will also request helpers on the event note handed out as each event approaches, so feel free to complete the return slip with your availability.

 

 

We also know there are many families at Barnier who have businesses or work for a company that would love to sponsor an event / part of an event, or would like to donate prizes or services for raffles and other competitions. We have many ways of promoting businesses that support our school, so please contact us via email for more details.
